I am going from London Euston to Luton tomorrow(Thursday) with my son and will be using our Family Rail Card so that will be 1 Adult and 1 Child but im getting if i put in London Euston to Luton at £15.30 off peak return or when i just put in London to Luton im getting £10.20 so does the 1st fare come with the Underground as well to get to St Pancras to Euston as well?

I presume so. You'd probably be just as quick walking from Euston to St Pancras as you would to get the tube (and you'd walk almost as far anyway to get down to the tube platforms and back up again), so save your money and just get the ticket from St Pancras.

I'd walk too.

Come out of Euston, turn left, and keep heading straight down Euston Road. I'd personally enter via either Midland Road or Pancras Road (both on your left as you head towards St Pancras).

As you're probably aware, you have the choice of EMT services (Corby services, on the hour which take roughly 21 minutes) or FCC services towards Bedford (which take roughly 35 minutes).

Do you have luggage? You may or may not be aware, but Luton has nothing but stairs. If you take the EMT services, they will arrive on Platform 5 where you can exit on to Station Road without having to use any stairs.

Sorry if you're aware of all this, just thought if you didn't it may help. I know both ends of the journey well, so if you got any questions... :)

I'd walk too - I used to really enjoy my walk from coming off the WCML at Euston along Euston Road to St Pancras and its magnificent architecture.

And that was back in the day before the renovation...

Doesn't take more than 10 minutes tops.

I think there is only one entrance at Luton. It's not a nice place (the town or the station).

Click link for best walking route EUS - STP

Go out of Euston by the entrance near M&S Simply Food. Turn left, until Phoenix Road, then turn right, continue down this road and St Pancras will then loom in front of you. This takes you directly to the Thameslink/EMT side of the station.

Journey time: 10 mins (walking).

The alternative route via Euston Road has many busy roads to cross and the noise and pollution from traffic isn't pleasant.

If you go by tube, allow 4 mins walking round endless tunnels and along escalators to the Northern/Victoria line, 1-2 mins to wait for a tube, 2 mins journey time, 4 mins to walk to the surface, 2 mins to walk the entire length of St Pancras train shed. Total journey time: 13 mins.

Or walk to Euston Square, and get the Met. This is a lot less faffing about with tunnels and escalators, but longer average waiting times for a train, and it's further to Euston Square too.

I'd walk!

There is no main entrance. There's an entrance onto Midland Road, an entrance via the leaky footbridge to the Town Centre, and one onto Station Road (which I'd imagine is what the person meeting the OP meant).

If this is what they meant, the exit is on Platform 5.
