Whitehaven Dayrider ad's already applied.

Excellent!! repaint and decent seats by the looks of things, shame we didn't get two, then two could have gone 'one' service ;)
Whitehaven Dayrider is a bit of a scare though... I really don't know why they don't have just day-rider when both are same price to be honest

Anyone know if its actually any good this one (but yes, hopefully better than 34079!!)

If you have a complaint, then take it up with Stagecoach. (Preferably using correct grammar and spelling, if you want to be taken seriously.... )

No, because so far everyone bar you that has had a complaint against Stagecoach has a good grasp of spelling and grammar.

TBH, I don't know why you bother - all you do is slag Stagecoach off over petty things. TBH, none of us here care; you be far better off taking it up with Stagecoach directly.

I`ve no complaints against stagecoach they can put on a good service when they want to and the fleet numbers on some of the buses actually match the registration unlike First which make no sense.

Every bodies entitled to their own opinion. If people don't like his comments then hey, don't read them. I didn't realise we were all about making mountains out of mole hills.

Anyway glad that dart went to LL, hopefully the other one will follow. I hope that after 18365 they go back and finish painting all the MANs :)

This is hilarious. I just fell off my chair. This is a fleet changes thread, so you can expect to find enthusiasts here, LOL.

I will say no more about the matter.

Shame the bus station can't handle solos in CE!!!

Quite a lot of services don't serve the bus station, so all is not lost! :)

my picture of 47722 showing "69 Bowscale Scale"

hopefully, it gets updated as soon as someone at Carlisle gets chance! Carlisle staff don't have a lot of time on their hands these days, they're too busy harassing passengers at bus stops with the portable ticket machines, and driving around the city centre aimlessly in the extra buses that were brought in to compete with Reays, and stand around with clipboards everywhere in the city centre monitoring Reays services

A recent example as been providing extra buses to try to combat the over-loading problems on the university services. With the closure of Ashford Road, and being diverted via Greaves, i have been able to observe the university bound X1's & 3's which regular have full standing loads in the afternoons as well as in the mornings!

Its now a regular occurrence to be standing all the way to the Uni but SC Lancaster have been great with providing extra services and shuttle services where needed to try and ease the over overcrowding!

yeh and i was talking about the fleet then that arsehole started on me about my spellings so what if am not a great speller i dident know i had to have a degree in spelling to come on this forum

Pity I can't quote the unedited version, oh well.

I'm not that bothered by your spelling or grammar - at least it's readable which is better than a lot of people!
I was merely saying that if you were to write to Stagecoach, I would use your best spelling etc in order to make the best possible impression.

I really do not see what all the fuss is about, I've been standing on buses, since I was a kid because they are full.
I will post a picture later on of what used to runs on the original Uni Sprint, when I have chance to scan them, yep finally got a scanner so severl thousand to get through.

there has been talk of a Dart going to Carlisle from Merseyside, to operate the short 685. it has just been a case of "is it actually going to happen or is it just rumour?" none of the 4 mini Darts Carlisle have are properly wheelchair accessible, but they do have the wheelchair space and kneel. 34048 also has the holes on the edge of the step for a ramp to slot into, but I haven't managed to see a ramp on it! (usually in a box in luggage space, but it isn't there).

20945 has replaced 16652 on Moorclose 50. 16652 is now on 30 and 31, with 16651, 17017, 35247 and 35249.
47617 on Harrington.

47616 on 1.
35248 on 2.
47007 on 3.
47060 (i think) on 4.
34616 and 35246 on 31A. (so yes, Whitehaven's town services are fully low floor, whilst Workington have 3 step entrances on. surprise surprise )
20994 on 22.

47059 on short 300's. it was rear ended at approx 1635 heading out of Whitehaven, but sustained very very little damage! (if any at all actually! I couldn't see a bump or a mark on it) unlike the car that went into it
think it was all 4 Scania's on 300.

obviously, with 34218 being on Moorclose 50, I had to go for a ride! as expected, it rides a bit like a Marshall, but, it picked up speed rather well, wasn't overly bouncy, and most unsurprisingly for an old Dart, its gearbox didn't a*se around either! unlike the Marshalls, it could actually make its mind up whether or not it was time for a gear change (33168 especially used to change its mind a few times! "better change up now! actually, I want to stay in 2nd, on second thought, i'd better go up into 3rd, actually, i'll lose power, so 2nd, no, i want 3rd!").
34218's Bright Tech LED display has been replaced with a Hanover one, however its Bright Tech control unit is still in place
