Have there been any trains named for or by bands or musicians?
(The genesis for this question was a predictive text game prompt "I would like to apologise..." which my phone completed with "to all the other trains named by a manufactured boy band"!)

508111 "The Beatles", which for a bonus carries an advertising livery for the Beatles Story museum.

The opposite has also happened - the band Blyth Power were inspired by the locomotive name, which was carried by 56091 then 56134.

Does 50007's previous identity of "Sir Edward Elgar" count? ;)
Certainly, I would say... along with its predecessors that bore the name

Interestingly, all three of them (GWR '3300 Bulldog' 4-4-0 3414 A.H.Mills. BR(W) Castle 7005 Lamphey Castle, and BR 50007 Hercules) were RENAMED to be "Sir Edward Elgar".
