So it's £15m now. It was £10m last time I heard, so the cost may be growing quicker than they can raise funding. Still, if they can do it, then good luck to them. Perhaps they could start by putting in a temporary station near the Brush plant and having a bus link of some sort.

its getting to the stage now where it's more of a when than an if it will happen, hopefully the branch line will bring the financial support they are hoping for and they can push on, would be great to see and would would be a big boost to the east midlands economy!

would love to see it happen, and seen as im studying civil engineering atm id love to be involved if it should happen!

In my opinion this represents one of the most exciting projects in preservation at the moment. I can't wait for the first train to go over, if they have any PR sense they'll hold it on the bridge until an EMT service passes beneath too. All the best for this project to everyone involved.

Aye i know, i volunteer at Keighley at moment, as being at leeds university that is by far the easiest one to get to. We'll see what happens, when im driving or finances allow i'd of course be happy to help out as i would at any railway, but i dont finish degree for another 3 half years

just an interesting project from both my interests, engineering and railways.
