Yesterday ( 12th ) I was on the 10.35 Waterloo - Weymouth to Southampton and 97 301 was parked at Basingstoke next to the Reading bay platform when we went through at about 11.20.
Whether that indicates a standard pathing and therefore chance of finding it or not on a future trip it makes to the area, I couldn't say...

A lot of test trains have WTT paths now, the ultrasonics do and so does the banana. They tend to run in 8 week cycles.
