Kings Cross for Nottingham?

i agree i dont really seem the point of this as nottingham already has two trains to london an hour. The ECML is crammed and this would clearly be a waste of space that would be unfair for other areas on the line that might need better services. The only way i can see it would work is if it was a replacment for the present nott-lon fast service via MML.....i dont see the case for a third train an hour to london since there is already three an hour during the morning peak (and returning in the evening peak). There are probably quite a few services nottingham could do with but one to kings cross i think is not one of them...........

I love how people are saying the EastCoast is already at capacity and there is the Grand Central Bradford services which aren't really needed. The stock could definitely be better used elsewhere

The ECML is at capacity on the stretch we are talking about

The Grand Central service isn't needed

The stock would be much better used elsewhere.

I cant argue with any of that.
