Hopefully those Scans will turn up soon and things can settle down :)

Glasgow first job for two of them[/QUOTE]

What they going to be doing up there? Have they ordered 4 with coach seats on purpose? In fact do the 10 that went to Yorkshire have coach seats?

Also SC are running another bus from QES direct to Lancaster bus station for all the students who get off there. Yesterday students were turned away from buses home because they were full. It seems the sixth form have taken on far more students this year then last, maybe to much.

I suspect that's where the decker from the morning 556 has gone then...20219 doing the honours this morning. Pity really, capacity is a problem with a B10M on 556.

Lancaster operates the runs from QES to Lancaster as one of them is a service bus, one of the 80's so 81A/B I think.

It would appear that the 10 Scanias Yorkshire have taken delivery of have high back seats so they have just done ME's the same. Either they thought it didn't matter or somebody has made a mistake in the ordering process!

What time did you see the dart? I could have been on a Dallam run or driver training for KL as some of the Dallam school routes run around Crag Bank.

It was in service as it stopped to pick up at the Royal Hotel in Bolton-le-Sands. I passed it there, didn't see the destination but it looked like 50 in my mirror....
It would have been about 9.00-9.30

Very strange, the 50 only runs to Carnforth then turns into the 5 that runs down the prom into Morecambe so could have been the 5 heading back to Carnforth but that would mean that ME are operating it which would be very odd indeed. Did you happen to see who it picked up? Normal passengers or kids in uniform? The only other thing I can think of is that a school bus failed somewhere on route and the dart was sent out to replace it. Very strange...

14258 on staff shuttle.
16733 on 30 and 31, on a different time slot to the usual decker slot. looked to be a B10M on 30 and 31 on the 1435 31, unless it was a late running B10M on 300.
20919 and 34079 on Seaton.
looked to be both 47023 and 47024 on Harrington.
20931 short 300.
15684 running late on 300. LED's working again.

No, couldn't see as it was in the layby by the time i passed it, i was coming up from Morecambe, and it passed through while i was waiting for the lights at Coasal Road- it came from the Lancaster/A6 direction, not from Hest Bank/Morecambe

20195 and 20919 were on Seaton this morning. 34079 replacing one of the B10M's this afternoon

All four Scania E400's in service today. Was on 15684 to Carlisle (displays not working at this morning) on 15685 coming back, no complains except getting to speed on the hills. Really good and smooth on the flats and down hill.

Rather busy coming back from carlisle when school kids from Netherhall got on for Flimby with many standees on the lower deck.

I reckon it was D5 either running very late or something had broken down somewhere. D1A was a single this afternoon so I reckon KL are having some issues what with them having no outdoor storage space due to roof repairs :)

22824 looks very nice and shiny there Jonesy, any idea whats going up next for repaint?

15697 looks good as well!

Ah, suppose D5 could look like 50 in a mirror....

Great stuff wonder what they will start on when the MANs are done! I guess the 3 S reg Tridents we are keeping will go at some point :)

Yeah D5 would look like a 50 lol! Surprised its taken us all afternoon to figure it out haha

Also something I found interesting about some new coaches that have been delivered to Chesterfield for National express routes is that the new vehicles are fitted with "Alcolock" technology which means the driver has to blow into a tube before he can start the vehicle. If he has been drinking he can not start the vehicle!

Kendal seem to be just pushing stuff out in the order its parked in the garage atm (no surprise given their situation)

20456 on 556 this morning, even though the CCTV looks nice and shiny, it's a heap lol.

A very warm smelling 18357 coming back home again.

Expect long delays to 552/5/6 and probably 567 tomorrow, it's the Westmorland County Show ;)

There was an article about NatEx using this technology in Bus and Coach Buyer quite a few months ago.

20195 on SL this afternoon, along with MCW.

Don't know if its been mentioned on here but there are enough new deckers on the latest SC order to see off all the Leylands in the UK. So I'm hoping more Olys or LF deckers will turn up in the NW to replace our remaining Leylands!!!
