A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 918 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Huyton Quarry
It follows the line of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway
It then follows the line of the LMS St Helens "Fast Lines"...via Robins Lane Halt
It then follows the line of the Lancashire Union Railway...via the Whelley Loop Line
It then follows the line of the Blackburn and Preston Railway...link line only, no closed stations
It then follows the line of the Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington and Colne Extension Railway
It then follows the line of the ELR Accrington to Bury Line
It then follows the line of the LYR Bury to Whitefield Line
It then follows the line of the LYR Radcliffe to Bolton Line...via Ainsworth Road Halt
It then follows the line of the Liverpool and Bury Railway
It then follows the line of the St Helens and Runcorn Gap Railway...via Widnes South
The journey ends at the closed station of Garston Dock

The first closed station on this journey is Huyton Quarry
