Sheffield Interchange/Bus Station is fantastic, it must be the cleanest large bus station in the country

Reason: Very few buses and hardly any passengers use it!

Most of the retail units are empty and SYPTE no longer have a Travel Centre on site, as they no longer produce timetables of bus services to display.
Reminds me of Monty Python's Cheese Shop sketch

Customer: It's not much of a cheese shop, is it?

Wenslydale: Finest in the district!

Customer: (annoyed) Explain the logic underlying that conclusion, please.

Wenslydale: Well, it's so clean, sir!

Customer: It's certainly uncontaminated by cheese....

Love it!

The bus station is so quiet you won’t even find Python’s ‘4 Yorkshire Men - Well we had it tough...’

The X17 and 50 services to Chesterfield pick up in the bus station, but the 43 and 44 buses to Chesterfield pick up on Flat Street just outside the bus station.

I don’t think anyone has mentioned Altrincham Interchange. Buses on one side, trams and trains on the other. Covered building with a travel shop and toilets. Always been clean and presentable whenever I’ve been there.

The Station at Manchester Airport is similar on a much larger scale - better than any of the London airports.
I have to disagree with you on Manchester Airport. Not everyone who uses the bus/coach/train to the Airport stations is working at or travelling out from the Airport. With quite a few National Express services and extensive destinations for rail services it is a transport hub for people who live in parts of Manchester and Chester who then need to use a car to drop people off / pick them up. Yet the airport expects you to to pay ££££ for the privilige and aggressively enforces the parking restrictions. Absolutely disagraceful.

What is disgraceful ? - they charge cars to pick up on their (private) property ?

Just seen a pic of the inside of Stoke:

Stoke bus station interior

I mean...wow! That looks like a modern international airport - a bit like Zuerich for example - not a bus station!

Looks a bit like Newport station from the outside but with that interior I can put up with it. Also reminiscent of the new London Bridge station - something you'd expect to see where the money is, not Stoke! :)

If it's like Zurich Airport where's the Smoking Lounge ?
