Yes they are going to Aberdeen.

Why are they goin to Aberdeen are they not bothering with the route or usin buses we have already got

Not at the moment Dallamlad, I would say the M's and P's, but that's not confirmed, the only ones that I know are definitely going are the Leyland Olympians.

Aberdeen still have 3 step entrance darts so I assume they are replacing them. I imagine we are no longer getting them because the X12 does not warrant new vehicles. The original plan was that the government would put money toward the route as part of a kickstart program but this was scrapped when the new gov came into power. It may be that SC bring in some second hand stuff for the route or use something in the current fleet.

That's the X22 which will run from September. This service will do one run from Morecambe to Lancaster in the morning and then one run from Lancaster to Morecambe in the evening (peak times). I think it may go to the Uni as well...

I think its something similar. Battery, Kingsway, Heysham Towers, Combermere Road, Lancaster Bus station, Greaves and Lancaster University.I'm not sure whether it will go all the way to the Uni or terminate at Lancaster. It has also been suggested that it may pass by ASDA as well. Gez may be able to shed some light on it

I expect the M reg B10Ms to go for disposal, 20994 to go into reserve (non-standard) and as many P regs as possible to be redeployed, ideally to Kendal.

I expect all the Leylands to go along with some/all of the R--NBV Olympians as their seats are unsuitable for the type of work they will be doing.

Sounds ideal, KL could do with some Volvo's but I'm not sure whether LL's would be the best ones to send. KL may end up been the last Leyland stronghold in the NW!

Have the B10B's been brought back because of the PVR increase or just as spares? I don't think its PVR and have always assumed that they would g back into reserve when all the scans are in service.

Spares AFAIK, I only rarely see them in service, so I assume they're only used when needed.

Agreed, I think it'll be a good while till we see ALL the B10's leave ME but there is a possibility the M's will disappear sooner, especially the B10B's.

Yeah I hadn't but that doesn't mean much lol. I think the B10B's will go back into reserve like they were before. 21003/4 were sat idle for a long time but 21005/7 stayed in service a lot longer. Great buses to travel in but are non standard and are M's so have to go I suppose.

Forgot to mention earlier, heard today that Barrow are getting or have got new buses, I don't know whether they're brand new or just transfers into Barrow from elsewhere, anyone any idea?

No idea, doubt very much they are brand new but could be transfers from somewhere else, don't hear much about Barrow on here!

They need 1 more "new" B10M to repalce their last K reg, but other than that they're in pretty good shape.

not long left for subsidised buses to sellafield it will be strange not seeing stagecoach busses in convoy but i think people getting used to the idea now, speeking to reays driver yesterday he told me they are doing bus to carlisle from whitehaven workington maryport and wigton to carlisle on united match days plus trips to newcastle metro center and manchester trafford center on saturdays from whitehaven and workington area, seen stagecoaches new double decker at bus station today it looks good

They should use them on some of the s regs the seats are gettin quit uncomfy and tatty make them look like 55 reg ones
