Any idea when morecambe's remaining Scania are turning up?
Uploaded latest pics on my fotopic some mostly of 20128.

Pics look good Jonesy, I'll keep my eye out for 20128 next week. Bit weird that 14193 was in the workshop, bit of an odd one to move somewhere for service as it has roller blinds...

Also I think Morecambes 4 remaining Scans are due after Yorkshire take delivery of their 10.

17019 on 2a
15681/82 on 40/41
16877 on 42

Traffic is exremely bad through Lancaster today with a tail back all the way to the uni and beyond when we drove past this afternoon. A driver even took the 3 up through Bowerham to avoid the traffic in Greaves.

The traffic on the motorway was bad Northbound as well so maybe something had happened, I don't know.

start with a little question this evening.

How many Lillyhall staff does it take to give 22598 the hose pipe treatment in the bus station? make a few guesses, and i'll reveal the answer later. Rosswatson knows, cos he was there with me!

20945 and 47060 on Seaton.
20130 and 20923 on Moorclose.
16733 went onto 30 and 31 after 22598 overheated.
47006 running around staff shuttle, with 16653.
47005 and 47062 on Harrington. 47062's front LED has packed up yet again.
16734, 16651 and 16652 on 300. didn't see the 4th.
20129 on short 300 this afternoon.
20910 and 20994 around after 600.
20919 and 35249 on 30 and 31.

and something that p*ssed me off. the driver on 22599, heading to Workington Bus Station for the 1750 30 to Thornhill, was texting while driving! <( 1 rule for normal road users, and another for Lexus driving Stagecoach Lillyhall drivers by the looks of things!!! <(

20901 has just Died in service on 31's at the end of my road....
By the look on the driver's face, coupled with the ferocious noise created by his deep-rooted right foot, I'd say it's done the B10M party piece and dumped all it's air!!

... And for those who were giving funny looks to a Blond long/medium haired chap dressed all in black, stood by the annexe between 12-1pm today, munching on a Subway footlong, whilst eying up the scania.... That would have been yours truly!!

We look forward to seeing them in service ;)

I've uploaded some pics of the 15686 to my flickr, :)

The ones you wouldn't have gotten without a little "Heads Up" from me? haha

OK guys, let's watch what we are putting in our posts, I'm sure nobody on here would like to be indirectly responsible for somebody losing their job! You'd be surprised who reads this forum.
Please think before you post.

i'd rather he lost his job over texting while driving, rather than losing his job after killing a little kid running out in front of the bus to retrieve a football (as we seen a few years ago, when my mothers friends son was killed after being hit by a 709D, when he ran out into the road to get something), who he didn't see cos he was looking at his phone half way up Station Road.
if the text he was sending was important, he could have pulled up in the bus stop he drove past to send it, rather than risk lives of unsuspecting kids.

and yeah, it seems pretty much everyone at Lillyhall reads this these days. a driver let it slip that this forum was now common knowledge.

I understand what you are saying, but I don't think that a public forum is an appropriate place to voice your concerns, if you feel so strongly about it, why don't you report it through the proper channels!

mostly cos i know management do read this. for all passengers could know, emails and stuff sent in could just be deleted straight away, or ignored.

Well if you are going to start using this forum for those reasons, then I'm afraid that I can't be part of it, don't get me wrong, I don't condone what you say the driver was doing, but these are my colleagues, and I won't be associated with a forum where a member of it is intent on getting them into trouble, not only that, but it is not good for stagecoach to have these accusations put on the internet for all to see.

I think maybe we just take a time out here chaps and agree to disagree, one of major plus points of this forum is that it is not hostile like so many others so maybe just say water under the bridge :)

Western still have 709d's in service but I'm not sure about the south of England. Think its a shame the new info buses haven't been branded, I know there isn't much point but I liked it!

FWIW, cainebj has also emailed Stagecoach regarding the matter.

If you want to leave Cumberland Lad, fine. But please don't make a big deal out of it. If you are who I think you are, you've already left and come back once.

No big deal, I've said all I have to say about it, and I have no bad feeling toward anyone concerned.

Do know if they have decided what B10s are leaving LL later on in the year Cumberland Lad?
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
So did you say they have cancelled the new buses they ordered for this route

They haven't been cancelled but are now going to Aberdeen.
