I remember now, I found it strange to allow notes, only to remove them. Might as well not bother :D

Very much the opposite. Making notes greatly assists your brain in retaining the information, even if they are removed by the time it comes to answering questions etc. It's similar logic to risk triggered commentary when driving - studies have shown that saying something out loud to yourself helps keep it in the active part of your brain, as not only are you thinking it, but you're then saying it and hearing it. Bear in mind also that psychometric assessments are often observed and marked by psychiatrists, who are observing your behaviour....

RTC I can appreciate, but the notes thing doesn’t work for me. Different people are different at retaining information, and note taking in this respect simply doesn’t work for me. Even subconsciously.

Anybody received joining instructions for the Driver course on 2nd November? Received my Guest pass which was reassuring.

Also, has anybody been made aware what day our wages will commence? Having to budget carefully to balance the books.

Thanks

Generally everyone on the railway is paid every 4 weeks on a Friday, so 13 times a year. Usually everyone is paid on the same dates, and the next dates are as follows:

16th October
13th November
11th December

I'd be surprised if LNER is any different to the rest of the railway. So my guess is you will get 2 weeks worth of pay on the 13th and then full pay from every four weeks onwards.

Had my Teams Interview today. Feedback was I'd hear by the end of the week.
I was told i should find out by the end of last week but I haven’t as of yet.
Just trying to be patient.
For those who passed the teams interview, did you get a phone call or email.

Fingers crossed! How do you feel it went?
I've done a few of these STAR style interviews, and always come away with absolutely no idea whether I hit the keywords they're looking for. The interview panel were great, really helped me relax, and I guess I'll find out in the next week or so.

Hey do you know the increment pay as a qualified driver?
Hi, not sure what training rate is for Qualifieds probably £55k ish then after 16 weeks you go up to full salary which is a lot better than other intercity increment.
