On it's outgoing fleet eg: 156, 158, 180, 222 the livery will be purple and silver.
The new fleet EMR will be keeping long term eg 170, 360 & 810 will be all over purple.

Just for reference, there's no silver in the outgoing livery. The white with grey skirt on the 156s is untouched from their previous Anglian livery. The white with navy window surrounds on he 222s is untouched from EMT livery (pedant alert, as it was a Stagecoach livery would more accurately be described as buttermilk than white).
As long as the white is kept clean I would tend to agree.

Railcam's twitter says it was 180110 today. It is still blue but has some of the gray applied around the bottom.
There’s also some movements to/from Loughborough Brush - is that for the 170s to be refurbished?

i think its just for them them to use the wheel lathe there as they have before, cancelled anyway though
could it be for a cross country 170 taking the middle car from 170635 to get refurbished before it joins the xc fleet? or it could be a 156/158 going to get prm mods (unless they are already all done?)
I doubt it - the XC 170s are based at Tyseley not Etches Park. The WMR livery thread also quoted 170635’s centre car being moved by low loader.
As been pointed out already WM units have been coming over to use the wheel lathe at Etches Park before returning later in the day.
I think these are the former paths for PRM mods on the 15x fleet as there are also paths from Brush to Eastcroft and Wolverton to Etches Park showing (the latter was yesterday).
I think most people like it but unfortunately it looks like it wont be staying the 170's that have arrived so far have been painted in full purple.
Only 5 VP's remain on sets but a lot of the 'blue' coaches remain as only 2 red coach sets are in traffic so far.
Current allocations show 43048+43058 on 1B41 0950 from Leeds tomorrow and other departures haveing red power cars and blue coaches.
The one at Tyseley is 170417. By the way, is there any update on when 170418 is moving to EMR?
No idea but it worked the 1050 Edinburgh to Dundee this morning according to real time trains.
One has got it (158773) but I guess covid stopped any further repaints for now
