47474 is back at LL, sadly only for storage.
47059 and 47060 have both had their front destination blinds refitted and are straight again.
Marshall bodied T reg Darts 33164 and 33165 have had their fleetnames and legals painted over ready for collection by their new owners.

It really annoys me that Lillyhall are short of LF minibuses and that 47474 is doing nothing - and now its at LL  What is head office doing, 'lets store it until its needed'... well it is needed! We are short and have awfull KX51 solos and now a just as bad PO51 has issues, as well as this the ALX200 dart is dead still... yet a 2007 reg solo is in storage <( Rant over. :)

Glad to see someone wants the marshalls by the way! :D

33144, Preston Bus Lynx's, and some Preston Bus Leylands (ex Lothian ones) are now on ebay.

E327MSG - Preston 127. My school bus for almost 2 years. Certainly best of the batch once you knew how to handle the brakes!!! First touch - nothing ; second touch - emergency stop!! As the regular driver I got used to it, but when I was off, complaints galore. Fitters tried on many occasions, but it was never rectified.

There is now a leaflet circulating detailing the closer of Lancaster Bus station this month. Buses will be using Common Garden street, George street and Dalton Square :)

Also the lower half of the back seat on 47022 has been re-covered.

Out of interest, who makes the decision about which buses are transferred from one fleet to another? I know it will be down to the PVR requirments of each depot, but for example with some of the Tridents moving out of ME, who decides which individual vehicles leave?

In light of the bus station closing in Lancaster, bet that is going to make things intersting around town for a while!!

that 2nd is seemingly a very similar route to Carlisle Citi 62 / 62A. both are Morton to ASDA / Kingmoor Park

I think it may be left to the depot. I'm not certain but I think they get to choose what they keep, so for example with the Tridents ME decide they want to keep the best ones with CCTV or whatever.

Reays are definately trying to take on too much. both of their yards are full of buses, and they'll be needing extra buses in to run these extra services. their fleet is heavilly financed, and they're getting desperate for new drivers to drive all of the extra work they've taken on! on the other hand, Stagecoach has space to spare, already has buses lying around they can drag into service, and with the service cuts taking effect over the next few months, they'll have a surplus of drivers they could move in to Carlisle to run extra services to over-power Reays :D
as a side note, Reays aren't even cheap to travel with! they recently lost a private hire job to JB Pickthall over costs. Reays quoted Stainburn School £200 for a private hire job to Dunmail Park, so the school contacted JB Pickthall, who quoted £85!!!

From what i've seen so far some new seats would be nice, or even a retrim of the existing ones, but i doubt it.

33164/5 have left LL.

Doesn't look at all bad after the repaint, hopefully it will have a little bit of a tarting up inside. Will have wait and see how it performs with its iffy Voith gear box on the Cumbrian landscape!

I wonder if they`ve done the same to the other two 17018 and 17021?
You would tell on 17018 it will still have the etching on it over the entrance door where the lancashire rose was when they had the baylink branding.

17021 repainted at Frenchwood and with 16184 are both classed as 'stored' at Frenchwood.
16624 is the latest chorley bus to be holidaying at Frenchwood. 16640 appears to have returned.
47493 is still in Walace and Gromit livery, even though it was meant to have been transferred to Fleetwood and repainted months ago. Looks to be long term VOR. Fleetwood have 25225 in use as one of the buses on the 86/89s this week, although sees use on the 84s too.
52629 has unfortunatly fallen victim to accident damage while parked in the depot. Done more miles being shunted around there in the last few months that any sort of service work. They don't seem in a rush to get it repaired either.

As said, this morning:
47060 on 51
47024 on 50

This afternoon:
47024 on 51
47060 on 50
Looks like stagecoach had the sense to switch services after falling behind and therefore arriving in the wrong time slots..... hmm
