That is the stats. I would be the first to admit that "the infection rate" is a much misunderstood term, it depends on how many tests are being done. But it doesn't stop the WHO and every single government tracking it like it was a gospel and, in fact, introducing draconian edicts from it, like face coverings and quarantines..... It would not be acceptable to only use "the infection rate" to promote pessimistic conclusions, but not the opposite !
Am I being cynical, but if the infection rate had dropped after the face coverings edict the government (and all the pro mask brigade) would be the first to equate the two.
