Yep, that'll be right, we spent all that money and time putting in loads of new panels, and getting it sparkling, only to ship it out for the summer and have someone else enjoy its freshness.. just hope it comes back somewhere near the condition its in now! on the other hand, you can keep 20794!!

Believe me it was enjoyable compared to what im usually used to with 20475/6!!!

only the one today;
16184 was in the yard this morning bound for preston

Is that a permanent transfer? Not entirely sure if they need it!!!

KL seem to have issues with hanging onto anything. 16328 was moved to KL painted and had "in Cumbria" stuck in the side then put in storage and moved to Preston. 16185 was moved there now in Preston (one assumes its been transferred). They had darts then lost them to solos. It seems very odd lol.

Also 15680 had a little bump in Preston catching a bumper on the curb when the suspension was lowered I understand.

There is a van with seats in Carlisle paint shop, with a fleet number on the defect card as 60009. I thought there was a bus with thes number at newcastle on the old Q1 and Q2 routes. The van is yellow and i think it is from liverpool. is this a correct fleet number or has the person who filled the defect card in incorrect.

KLs solos were an age upgrade compared to the darts.

I wonder if the loss of 16184 is indicative of a PVR drop at Kendal?

60009 is correct and it is from Merseyside. 60008 was written off with accident damage.

Yes indeed they were but still a faff about lol. With ME losing 7 buses (apparently) and ME's PVR going up by two does this mean something with be drafted in to make up the numbers? Could that be why 20128 is coming down?

17023 on the 40 just now.

Any update on the status of the Versa's been built for the X12? I know the route has bee shelved or scrapped but what of the buses?

22600 on evening 301's, with 20436 most likely!
town services been a bit messed up! 20923 and 47005 on Seaton. 47024 and 47061 were on Harrington, then 47060 and 47062 on Moorclose. 47061 and 47062 were swapped over at one point for some unknown reason!
20934 on short 300.
16447, 16651/2/4 on normal 300.
20918, 20921, 20931 and 20945 on 30 and 31.
35247 on SL Ltd Contract with 20902 and 20905.
16734 on 53.

Workington... Yay.
The first of the four Scania E400's is expected to arrive at LL on Friday for driver familiarisation.
Another MAN E300 will gain a tachograph machine in the near future for use on 300/301. (I have a feeling these will end up being de-branded)
I have been told on good authority that the 14*** Leyland Olympian's will be withdrawn once the Scania's arrive.
Also 16653 is unlikely to rejoin the LL fleet.

Good riddance to 16653 !!

Closure of B5295 at Keekle for up to two weeks.

Would customers also please note that due to the above-mentioned road closure, we will be unable to observe our normal routes on services 31 and 31A from Monday 2nd August 2010, until further notice.

As a result of this, services will operate as follows:

31: The main through-route from Maryport to Frizington, will operate the normal route from Maryport to Whitehaven (bearing in mind the Harrington road works noted above), but will then operate from Hensigham along the A595 and A5086 in order to reach Cleator Moor, where the service will terminate. There will be connections at Cleator Moor Square for onward buses to Wath Brow and Frizington.

31A: This service will operate only between Whitehaven and Overend Road, Hensingham, with a special timetable. Customers for Cleator Moor and Fizington should use the main service 31 instead.

FULL TIMETABLES CAN BE DOWNLOADED BY CLICKING THIS LINK.
Stagecoach would like to apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused, however the situation is regrettably outside of our control.
