I'm sure there's worse at LL already!
Yeah, the arse ends of the R---NBV's! I'm told 16652 is a chassis victim..
I'm sure there's worse at LL already!
Oh FFS! That was the best one!!! :-x:cry:
Not as slow as 16653, dreadful bus! I've been off so I didn't know about 16652,![]()
The K reg Olympians were only on the 300's for a few years, they were replaced by the P reg N/C's that came from Ribble, which weren't here long, then came the R reg's, which have been on the 300's for at least 6 years, so they haven't done too bad really.
14234 (or 1034 as it was) is still a very smooth bus, it just lacks power in comparison to how the Volvo's used to be. I would think that the Scania's will be around for along time, they are supposed to be very good.![]()
Are they going to brand the west cumbria scanias as they are not with the morecambe ones probably because on sundays they may run on the 2A or the 42
16734 on full 300. i'm told 16651/3/4 are the others.
Somebody made a mistake putting a scania on the 2a's.
I wonder if the R-NBV's will end up like this

all present and correct! I spent the afternoon in Carlisle, and spotted all four!
You wouldn't see 20931 parked in the lay by just further along from the turn off for Victory Crescent thenLayover on the X58.
I also spotted a citi dart on Brampton 685.
Dang!!
I always end up missing the best stuff!
(Would have been better being 20777 on layover... but that ain't gonna happen any more!)

I saw that this aft! FOO (34039) was on Silloth 38's
Hmmmmm! It was 34701 I saw on 685..
A citi dart was on 38 this morning.... must have failed !![]()
New arrived - 16652
16652? Hmmmmm!
This was parked outside the Body shop as if it had been delivered and was waiting for its next duty out.
16653 is at LL, 16652 is not, so it must be 16652 at CE, no one seems to know anything about it having a corroded chassis???
Indeed, unless it goes for repaint first?
