They are slowly starting to repair it with 16655 donating the front and door for it.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---

They are using the old L.E.D blind out of 16655 for it and just got a rear blind as well.

Great stuff. Just as we get them all done we'll be losing 4 of them!!! Take it they aren't going to bother doing anything else with them.

20457 on schools 552.

20710/1 on Dallam schools, 20456 on QES 99.

I'm just waiting for 20456 to come back to confirm if it has SchoolRunner branding, I think it did....

A howling 20456 just gone back past, it doesn't have SchoolRunner branding, but an advert related to schools...

17018/19/22 and 24 are in need of a repaint as they still show the old 'baylink' branding under the stagecoach legals as the others have had repaints or the bottom panels done.
Did anyone spot 21003 in service today???

Yeah 20451 and 20463 has been on reserve for a while. Are the B10B's just a temp measure while the MANS are off or getting work?

I'm assuming the B10Bs are just back to cover the oddness of the Scanias entering service, and also the MANs being away.

Closure of A597 at Harrington, Beckstone Bridge for several weeks.

Would customers please note that due to the above-mentioned road closure, we will be unable to observe our normal routes on services 30, 31 and 301 from Monday 19th July 2010, until further notice.

As a result of this, services will operate as follows:

30, 31, 301: will operate from Workington Bus Station and out of town via Jane Street, Guard Street, Cross Hill and A596, then A595. The buses will then call into the Lakes College site on those journeys normally timetabled to do so, before rejoining the normal route through Distington and onwards. The same arrangements will apply in reverse.

As a result, the section of route between Workington and West Lakes College via Annie Pit, Moorclose and Harrington cannot be served. We will endeavor to operate the main 30/31 as best as possible, but customers should note that there may be some delays to the timetable.

Cumbria County Council are arranging for a replacement shuttle service between Workington, Newlands Lane, Salterbeck and Mossbay, which will be operated by Stagecoach. Further details of this will be posted in due course.

Services 46 and 46A will continue to operate as normal, but may be subject to some delays depending upon the traffic situation.

Stagecoach would like to apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused, however the situation is regrettably outside of our control.

This is an epic fail by the council. The traffic situation in the town is already a nightmare at peak times. I'm sure the work could have been done at a later date. e.g. When (and if) Calva bridge is re-opened. As this will reduce the amount of traffic which goes straight through town. Not amused!

Just seen 15681 on the last Preston - Morecambe, virtually empty, usually a Single Deck of some description on this turn.

thats a low floor mini down for a few days then!
47061 has had its exhaust put back on! and is out on Harrington today with 34079!

47024 and 47006 on Seaton
47062 and leaning 47007 on Moorclose runs
20962 was on Northside today

20902 was on 31 but replaced by 20919. 20902 examined for a good 15 minutes by inspectors before, presumably, going up towards lillyhall
- from what I saw today (until the heavens opened!!) 20901 on short 300 and seen usual Oly's were on long 300.
Annex: 20962 (northside), 20902 (after being on 31) 20945, 42025 (with Maryport 58 display), 20195, 20919 (before going out on 31), 20436 eventually went onto the annex after blocking up the stand A in the bus station -a busy annex today!

Today:

20463 on 55
47021on 49
47247 on 81B
15682, 18326/62 on 40
15680 out of service at the BS
22818 on 2
20133 on X1
25222 and 47728 on 6a
21003 heading dead toward Lancaster from Whitelund
17019 on 5
14196 on 81a
20545 and 16662 on 42
16664 Out of service at the bus station

Also spotted a very old Bon Chaunce double decker causing trouble at the bus station. He pulled up in Damside street blocking traffic including a solo a Tridents and a Travellers solo (think it was KendalKing) He let off half his passengers then set off again and pulled into the bus station pulling into one of the stand but stopping before he was level with the door leaving is back end sticking. Little Dave ran over and escorted passengers off into the bus station.

Ta Gez. In that case I guess Tridents going is just an option like everything else.

Also Dart 33174 has been transferred from Chorley to Manchester's Ashton Depot.

33174 has indeed departed to pastures new in madchestor, 20793 should have arrived at carlisle by now for re paint..............and.....wait for it :).....2 a say 2 tridents will soon be departing Lancaster destined for Chorley fleet numbers TBC.:)

Replacements for rotted Oly's, coming in just in time for the school summer holidays.... To be fair, i think that might actually be planned, then Chorley can have time to do whatever is required to them in order to make them ready for the new school year.

What's the latest on another 33xxx coming into Chorley to replace 33174, seems odd to replace a bus that was listed as reserve
