Diamond rather than Go North West

Oh sorry, I thought they were all under the same name for some reason.

Well, there certainly is a mixed bag out there at the moment which makes for interesting observations. Been to several house viewings this week. Here's a couple just from today:

Weston:
1: 33750!

Bristol:
1: 39402
19: 33711
24: 35107
73: 39406

Quite nice to see the Lawrence Hill B9s appear on routes such as the 1/2 and 48. Reminds me of times about five years ago where Bristol wasn't E400MMC dominated!

Except 5 years ago, people were complaining that there were too many Geminis

That is true!

After a house viewing in Worle this afternoon (at a social distance of course!), I went on the 7 into Weston town as I needed some bits and bobs. First have left one pair of seats untaped for couples/same households to sit in but they are regularly taken by solo travellers which is annoying.

Olympia 33569 still going strong on the 7. 33750 on the 1 was a pleasant surprise - nice to see the Terry's (my name for the Excel Enviro 400s) on something other than X1-6/9 duties. Was nice to see grandma 32006 still going strong on the 20.

On the Kernow thread Matt Splat reports he has heard from several sources the Bath bendis are due to be scrapped. Also that they are in store at Westbury which is due to close. Westbury is at present home to several of Bath’s older fleet including all the Bath Spa Unibus B7TLs and older B7RLEs. Perhaps the plan is to clear these oldies for scrap when the deadline comes to finally close and clear out the Westbury depot.

Oh no! I really hope that at least one bendi gets preserved in all this! It would be a real shame if that didn't happen!

Surprising isn't it?!

So which Enviro 400s have left Manchester and where are they now? All I know is that 711 and 722 are in Bath, and 707, 726 and 742 are at Weymouth I believe?

721 is also in Bath, that's definitive as it's been seen on service.

Steve White said back in May that 673, 677, 691, 715, 716, 719, 731, 737, 743 & 752 were all also in Bath.

I do wonder whether some of these have headed to the paint shop before entering service. I say this as being newer, they should've come back out in Bath before the MX58 B9s, and of course, they haven't!

To all the Wells enthusiasts : 33948 has now been fixed and was on the Bath U1 today. I don't know whether it or 949 are expected to move back down to Wells for 376s at some stage. 949 also packed up quite early on this morning, and was subbed by 36229!

I see.

I notice a very shabby looking 33711 on the 19 earlier. Go North West and FM must have knackered the thing on 8/36/37s!!

they were NEVER with GO North West they were with Diamond North West who do not know how to look after buses right Go North West brough theirs outright and have turned that fleet around

Of the recent departures from Diamond North West 33657/710/2/3/8 have gone to Doncaster S Yorks, 673/7/91/711/715/6/9/21/2/31/7/43/52/3 to Bath, 693/5/6/7/700/28/33 to Leicester, 699/704/7/9/24/6/7/30/4/5/40/2 to Hampshire and Dorset shared between Hoeford and Weymouth. That is the position as far as I know.

The one vehicle that bugs me that it never came back from Rotala to the Bristol area was 37351. It would make total sense numerically!

Yeah but enthusiasts get hung up on numbers. It’s just another B9 that is worth £x on the books so it’s something newer for Doncaster that they can afford is the business view.

Very True, same story with the 325**s. Has 37003 gone to Kernow now? I thought that was going to stay given it had South Glos Lynx colours?

Re 37011 if the Kernow tracker is to be believed this one has been working Kernow T1 and T2 today.
Steve reported it was transferring FWE to Kernow in March.
