Odd Train To Scarborough?

Was there any special workings to Scarborough yesterday (27th June) at all?

A friend of a friend has remarked how she saw 'something with a nose' on the line yesterday. My initial reaction was a 37 on a Network Rail train, but she seems to think it was more like a HST! Any ideas?

Are EMT running summer trains to Scarborough in the form of Class 222s? This is the only thing I can think of that might have some resemblence to a HST to a non-rail enthusiast!

Probably the 17.03 off Scarborough to St Pancras, which is formed from the morning service which I have forgotten the timing for!
