We've mainly been in the Valleys, not Cardiff!

Sadly, there are no bus services from Swansea this late on a Sunday (there usually are but not at the moment because of corona), so we'll have to wait for the 2331 Transport for Wales service 2B21 to Pyle, arriving there at 2358 on Sunday evening.

There doesn't in the current circumstances seem to be a particularly early start in the metropolis that is Pyle, but it does mean we can resume westward with the 0821 Transport for Wales service to Ferryside arriving at 0947 on Monday morning.

There was a 10:25 bus I was planning a move for but clearly took too long deciding where to go

From Gowerton, we now board the 11:19 First South and West Wales service 16 to Penyrheol, before Heol Elfed, arriving at 11:41 Monday morning.

I think the next service is formed of the same bus, so we board the 1845 New Adventure Travel service 116 to Gowerton (Mansel Street), arriving there at 1936 on Monday evening.

That actually means we haven't got off, as the bus has yet to reach its terminus, it seems to be on a terminal loop, but useful to know that we can continue on a bus if we don't like where someone has sent us to!

We have little choice other than to reboard the 16 in the other direction on the 20:35 First South & West Wales service 16 to Pontarddulais Bus Station, arriving at 21:14 Monday evening.

I think it's open to interpretation. I'm very dubious about the whole same vehicle thing anyway as I know from my own professional life that buses don't always do what appears logical!

Fair enough, I shall continue, to avoid disrupting the game. In all honesty, I couldn't actually find a return working at all, and it only appears to run once a day.

That is it for the remainder of the day, and the Heart of Wales Line only has one service a day in each direction, so we return in the morning for the 0620 First South & West Wales Cymru Clipper service X13 to Swansea (Castle Square), arriving there at 0700 on Tuesday morning.

Sadly we are just (literally by 0.1 of a mile!) too far to make use of any of the local buses so instead we wait for the 1357 London North Western Railway service 2Y16 to Marston Green, arriving there at 1427 on Tuesday afternoon.

I think we've had this problem before, which is bizarre as the 4 runs past the station. Perhaps there isn't a bus stop!

The 4 does serve the station but it only appears to run back and forth the town centre and a retail park.

We take the 1453 London Northwestern Railway service to Hampton in Arden arriving at 1459 on Tuesday.

From the bus stop outside the station, we next board the 1512 Johnsons Excelbus The Bard's Bus service X20 to Spon End (Alvis Retail Park), arriving there at 1537 on Tuesday afternoon.
