BBC News Channel / Manchester Metrolink system

See that the BBC News Channel have just now been running an interview with Greater Manchester mayor Andy Burnham discussing, amongst other things, the ongoing operation of the Manchester Metrolink system.

This was accompanied by library footage of the old T68 green and white tram units trundling through Manchester city centre.

Just how long is it since they were last in operation?

2014.

Thanks. The BBC also broadcast footage of a T68 on its way to Deansgate-Castlefield station in a 2018 episode of "Bargain Hunt" set in the Manchester area.
