Power points on LM services to Crewe?

Due to an oversight (OK, OK, a cock-up ) I am on the 15:46 EUS-CRE, which is of course when England are playing this afternoon.
I have my mini-TV but I need a power point. Do they have available plug sockets on these LM services? I assume it'll be a Desiro?

Look behind the seats at the end of the coaches, you'll find sockets. They're meant for cleaning staff but I've seen passengers like me with laptops using them too.

I would say use at your own risk though, mind you saying that I've never seen anyone have any problems when using them. And of course I NEVER told that now, did I?

OK, I have a Standard Class Advance. Do LM offer upgrades during the week?
If they do (which I doubt), how much is it? I see a note on their website that says FC Advance is only £10 more than SC but doesn't say if that's if you want to upgrade, of if you choose FC over SC at the time of booking.
Having said that, I can get 4xAA Duracells for less than £7 and they'll have more than enough juice to get me through the second half

Yes but if a power surge happens and they end up wrecking their product then they can't exactly go back to the operator and demand compo can they?

Especially as they're not for public use but rather for maintenance purposes.

Of course, like you said passengers would have to use them at their own risk.

As I stated you use them at your own risk, but to be honest it's about time that sockets were provided for both standard & first class passengers. SWT & Virgin West Coast please note!
If First Great Western, Cross Country & East Coast can do it for both classes, then so can you.

Without being too sarcastic, it's all to do with cost if it wasn't then I'm sure a number of projects would have been completed years ago.

But your point is very valid and one I agree with full heartily.
