Increase in harrogate to Leeds service

For the past few weeks the Harrogate to Leeds service as been every hour been the through Leeds to York service. This week the Leeds to Knaresborough shuttle has started every hour giving an 1/2 hour Harrogate to Leeds service. Any ideas why this should be as the trains are nearly empty.

Isn't there a NHS Nightingale complex there? It will need key workers who may travel on the extra services you mentioned.

I think I read somewhere that there be extra early morning trains Preston to Blackpool for key workers starting up this week. Must need to redeploy NHS staff around from one location to another quite a bit I'm guessing.
