Burton to Leicester line

Hi all
I moved to Stapenhill a year ago and the old Drakelow power station line is literally where I live.
there is also a big railway viaduct spanning the river Trent just outside too. Not sure of the name of the viaduct as no bridge signs but might just be called Stapenhill viaduct, anyway, if I was to put something into real train times to see if anything is coming through on the line (which is hardly used I know) what would I put?
I thought it was Burton Leicester junction but I’m not sure.
Any help would be great!

I don't know the area but Drakelow West Curve Jn and Drakelow East Curve Jn are search options on RTT which I assume are in the area you refer to. There are a few 'Runs as required' workings that come up when searching on these

Oh and there is a Burton Leicester Jn as well. I guess this is the junction that leads onto and off the XC route as all of the XC services show up when searching on that

Think most of the traffic on the Burton Leicester line runs from the quarries near Coalville towards the MML in Leicester.

Following the line on Google street maps Moira West signal box is shown - Moira West junction.

Looking on Realtime trains there appears to have been a train on 9 April - search ‘all day’

There was indeed. 3Z17, weed-spraying. Apart from that the line is little used, actually shown as out of use at the current time between Moira and Birmingham Curve Junction. To answer the OP question about the viaduct. It may have a local name, but I can only find it referred to as River Trent viaduct.

Yes, talking to my friend on phone who lives at Coalville the other day and he said northern section closed and any traffic from Bardon Hill is going south towards Leicester only. Not sure if the Bardon Hill to Tinsley still runs and is diverted or not running at all?

The Bardon to Tinsley hasn’t run for a few weeks now. It passes my house at Ashby. Last known (to me) movement was 6Z05 from Bardon to Coton Hill with 66709 around 10 days ago
