First class to London from leeds

On Thursday 5th August we are travelling to London - Please could anyone let me know the cheapest way of getting there from Leeds - we will be returning on Saturday 7th 2010 - Would love to go on the west coast main line or indeed on the east midlands route to St Pancras

Any ideas would be great

If you want to go FC, then that will cost a fortune for walk-up tickets, so I'd get Advance tickets. It will cost a lot more than Standard class though! EC and EMT both offer a discount on their own websites.

There are no Virgin & Connections tickets between London & Leeds, so you would need to split tickets at Manchester or Huddersfield to go via WCML. Manchester is probably best. There are reasonable deals on TPE between Leeds & Manchester.
