It starts on 27th June, though I do not know how long LCC have given Stagecoach to get new vehicles.

I also have seen people asking why 47474 is in reserve, this was involved in an RTA where it ended up colliding with a tree and the tree won with the bus having severe front end damage and the driver a broken leg in several places. The bus with its twisted front axle was sent back to Optares to be repaired, but is still causing problems hence its withdrawal.

Oh I see so will it be kept in the company, stripped or sold? I guess they new vehicles will arrive in time for the 27th...any more hints on what they are lol?

Dallamlad - most likely sent back to Optare until they sort it properly. I'd hope that the work done on it is under warranty, so will be repaired free of charge.

Is 16328 still at ME? If so what the hell is going on with it? If not where is it? Lol

It went to preston on wednesday after it's MOT at morecambe.
22804 is next up for repaint after a bump on the O/S rear wheel corner.
Also the MP for morecambe paid a visit to the depot today probably about the X12 service that starts soon and i seen a timetable for it, on the front it had Baylink gold with a purple and gold front intead of the usual orange and blue.

So much for it going to KL lol what's it doing in Preston? 22804 has new seats right?

It's the only lo-liner at morecambe that has bus style seats as the others had been refurbed after they was caught up in the carlisle floods in 2005 and i think it was retrimmed up there into beachball blue.
I have no idea probably one the preston lot might find out.

Shame they don't seem to be that bothered about refurbishing the MANS seats. Saying that I imagine it take a hell of lot longer and more effort to refurb the newer seats then bench seats! What are they doing about that paint spill? Who takes paint on a bus! Bet it was a right mess!

16328 off to Preston to cover for Tridents/E400s going off for repaint maybe? Don't forget that 16352 (I think), currently in use as a spare, is due at Carlisle.

Welcome to the forums Cumberland Lad! Thanks for that useful update.

42566 is on the disposal list, so may be being given away.

Have you any idea if some of the ex-Merseyside B10Ms will be going to Barrow to replace their last K regs?

Latest goings on at Lillyhall
Quite a few ex Merseyside B10's have arrived, including 20859 - 20901 - 20902 - 20903 - 20905 - 20910 - 20923 - 20934
Some older B10's taken out of fleet including 20757 - 20764 - 20765 - 20768 and 20779, the rest will go shortly.
Short Dennis Darts 33167 - 33168 also taken out of fleet.
A few Leyland Oly's have arrived for storage including 14206 - 14208 and 14209
4 new Scania double deckers due to arrive in September for 300, they will be route branded and the service will be named (don't know what yet) it used to be called Border Clipper back in the 80's but that name will not be used this time.
40011 and 40033 are at Lillyhall with new coats of paint and done out for non PCV duties.
42566 re-panelled and prepared for paint, must be getting transferred somewhere?
From Monday Reays will run all internal Sellafield buses, I have not seen what they are using on it yet, apparantly they have pulled out of the Pickthalls buy-out.

Welcome Cumberland Lad!

Interesting to read that the Scanias are going to be branded. I doubt the ones coming to Lancaster will be as they are likely to stray onto other routes!!!

Reays have taken delivery of 6 brand new Plaxton Cheetah 2's for the Sellafield work. they have a small LED display in the top left hand corner of the windscreen. they are being operated from a yard in Egremont, next to SH Brownrigg, of whom Reays have taken some of the work from! it is understood that Reays are only renting the yard, so we'll see how long they stay there!
indeed, they have pulled out of purchasing JB Pickthall (must stress that JB Pickthall ARE NOT in financial trouble. Mr Pickthall approached Reays due to wanting a career change). Reays excuse for pulling out is because of the Pickthall name being plastered all over national news over the accident a few weeks ago (Reays were to keep the JB Pickthall name and livery), however rumours are suggesting that Reays have been refused various finance to cover the cost of purchasing from Mr Pickthall. a Bentley "belonging" to Reays has supposedly been returned to a finance company.

16733, 20435, 20759, 20790, 35247, 35249 and 7 Enviro 300's on 30 and 31 today.
22595 has been on 48 and school work.
22611 appeared as a staff shuttle vehicle later on.
20134, 20923 and 52635 on School Work along with 22595.
14234 been flying around as staff shuttle, then presumably Whitehaven schools.
47059 and 47060 on Moorclose Circulars, with 47061 doing catch up.
20962 and 33169 on Seaton (not enough mini's now 33167 and 33168 withdrawn).
34079 and 47062 on Harrington. 47062's displays are broke. front was stuck on "Stagecoach", side had "Not In Service" and rear "000". an inspector had the KeyLo to try sort them out, but the hanover control unit was refusing to transfer data from it!
all 4 Profile's on TransCumbria.
16652, 16653, 16654 and 16734 on 300.
20777 on short 300.

13297, 14205, 14206, 14207, 14209 and 14260 (withdrawn instead of 14202 due to crash damage) have been replaced by 16343, 16351, 16353, 16397, 16441 and 16870.

By the looks of this 14202,14208 and 14210 are the only ex-Lancaster J reg deckers left in service until other deckers are made available to replace them.

Indeed. Apparently the J reg deckers have covered an awful lot more miles than their F, H and K reg cousins....

14208 has been on DD08 this afternoon 1445 to Kirkby Lonsdale and return, should then have worked the 1647 42 Blackpool, but was swapped for 16664 gricers like, Leyands but pax dont.

Don't expect to see bigger buses on the 89 until the route at Stakepool has been sorted. The bus spins round in the road at the Elletson Arms, something that anything bigger than a Solo cannot do safely.

13296 and 13297 did alot of miles when they were at GM Buses(3296 and 3297 in old fleetnumbers) at tameside depot and spent most of there time on the 400 Trans Lancs Express between Bolton and Stockport(Manchester Airport summer)(via bury, heywood, rochdale, oldham, ashton and denton) similar to the 555 route. Then transferred to stockport after tameside depot shut and then mostly on the 192's (Stockport-Manchester Piccadilly).
