SWR Assessment day Feb 8th

Slightly different but I applied for SWR on 13th Feb and I’m awaiting a start date. Wondering whether they are awaiting to see who else passes all stages to fill a class.

As I understood it from discussions on Monday at my DMI they are actively pursuing applications and don't operate the endless talent pools as with some other TOC's

Yeah I also asked that question and got told they don’t hold talent pools and that each successful applicant is therefore filling a live vacancy.

Woohoo SWR just phoned to tell me I passed DMI on Monday and that an MMI date will be forthcoming. They also said the recruitment process is still going ahead currently.

I’m in the same boat. I think they may be trying to get everyone at the same stage and then set an MMI date for everyone.

yeah I think they're just finishing off DMIs this or last week. When she called me earlier she said MMIs would be within weeks. So hopefully not too long

I had my assessment day 31st January. Got offered a short notice DMI 2 weeks ago but I couldn’t make the date. You?

Just thought I’d let you guys know. I called the recruitment team today for an update and was told that understandably recruitment has been placed on hold for the foreseeable future. Once things begin to improve in regards to the situation with COVID-19, then recruitment will recommence.

However, I personally don’t see things returning to anything slightly normal for at least 3-6 months, maybe longer.

I've heard nothing further regards MMI date since passing my DMI (Unsurprisingly) I have tried calling a couple of times but just rings till cut off.

DMI was for Salisbury, guess I'll get an MMI date once the current situation is resolved.
