I've been invited to attend the Stage 1 assessment. When I replied that I had passed all the tests at enhanced level in 2019, I was told I won't be able to attend these anymore? Surely the OPC results from my previous assessments are transferable?
I haven't heard nothing back yet from Arriva, I too passed all tests with enhanced mark last year with Crossrail

I'm worried now too that I won't have reply either
Really put my hopes up to try again after being unsuccessful with Crossrail last year.....

It's worth noting that there was not a great deal of online testing in the Overground application to filter people down, just the short SJW. So I would imagine it will take Arriva quite some time to go through the sift

GWR are recruiting for Paddington!

Edit: Job ad is down already, after only 1 day! They must've had loads of applications!

Said for 21/22 talent pool?
Yes that's right, from what I've read on different forums that's what they usually do, recruit people for talent pool
Someone correct me if I'm wrong?
I have applied anyway, nothing to lose lol

I’m waiting for some good news! (I’m being patient, and no news is good news right?) I’ve already passed all the assessments too to the advanced standard.

one of my friends passed last year and passed the DMI but failed on the referencing.. does anyone know if he will be able to get a look in again? He was told you get two attempts at a DMI but seen as he failed referencing would that maybe not put him in a bad state? I guess what I’m asking is.. are they allowed to discriminate (if that’s the right word) on previous failures? He has now corrected his references.. but worried that they will hold on to what they know from his last reference check?

Any advice out there please

Anyone remember what it said on the site at time of application?

As I rung ARL and they said between 2 weeks and 4 months. Thing is I remember it says they get back to you within 2-4 weeks of closing date...

I know two of my friends both got rejected within first 2 weeks. I applied on 1st February 2020.

It took about 3 months last time so I’m assuming it will be about the same this time but from once they contact you as being successful it flows quick with assessments weeks apart then to a DMI and start date

Did you get the job in the end?
Yes thankfully , but as blackkat mentioned once you pass the sift the process picks up from stage 1/2 ,DMI , medical and start date tbh I don’t know how people wait months and years in talent pools
