Cheers Gez :)

I assume all these are just lying around? Would be nice if they were all kept in good condition and used for events etc. I think they have been used as info buses in the past...didn't ME have on at some point? I assume SC have a long term plan else they would have sold them on?

18361 was put on the 6a at about 4pm as a Versa was running very late stuck in traffic.

18325 and another 2005 Trident on 3's
17021 on 40
47731 on 81B

20129 and 20765 on Seaton. 20129 was later replaced by 33167.
33169 and 47006 on Moorclose Circulars (they were swapping over due to running late).
20435 was doing catch up's on Moorclose Circulars.
47024 and 47060 on Harrington.
20757 on short 300.
20759 on normal 300, with 16654 and 16734.
both short and normal 300's were running late due to ridiculous amounts of traffic heading into Workington.
at least 2 Profile's on TransCumbria.
14234, 35247 and 35249 on 30 and 31. 35249 sounding rather knackered nowadays.
14255 doing staff shuttle's.

there has been a number of shootings in the West Cumbria area this morning, with the gunman still on the loose, reported as heading towards Central Lakes. from what i can gather, bus services in the Whitehaven area, and south of Whitehaven, are suspended. all members of the public have been advised to stay indoors. currently, 3 people are suspected dead, with only 1 confirmed.

Workington... Yay.

Another sad day for Cumbria. Worst 6months we've ever had. Today is also the day of Chloe Walker's funeral, who was tragically killed in the school bus crash.

a body, suspected to be Derrick Bird, the "gunman on the loose", has been found in some woods in Boot.
its expected that West Cumbria will return to normal functioning very soon!

Wow I didn't realise people paid such an interest in buses out of my local depot!

That's not a dig by the way, it's genuine shock. I've heard of train spotters, but not bus spotters :D

Oh I see I'm guessing your more interesting in trains?

Neither really. I joined to ask a few questions about rail tickets because i'm having to resort to them on occasion and don't want my pants pulling down lol.

I'm a petrolhead, so as far as i'm concerned, most of the time public transport is the child of evil :D
