also noted citybus have erroneously submitted some routes commencing 1st April. They are due to take over the routes on 29th March and previous incumbents cease on 28th March
I note this one is a special restricted licence, which can only be used for the purposes of providing a bus service using a licensed taxi. The other Summercourt O licence is a full PSV.That’s interestingly not the main Summercourt travel licence , and that particular licence doesn’t have any vehicles authorised at present and is registered to a different correspondence address. Summercourt’s licence is PH1011427
Robert and Sam Ryder are directors of Summercourt travel.

Are you referring to the Summercourt or the Ryder O licence? But it has a clause no vehicle under 8 passenger seats so still a minibus.

In which case as Special Restricted covers PHVs to a maximum of eight passengers that means the Ryder O licence is restricted to exactly eight passengers and no less.Ryder

I guess that's it then!they’ve got a posh looking 8 passenger seat Mercedes Vito in the yard now you mention it
I think I read somewhere that a vehicle in OTS' fleet has been painted red, but I've not seen any photos of it yet. Their recruitment advert is certainly very Go Gornwall Bus-esque red, yellow and white though!
Anyone know yet where the Depot are being placed (E.g. where in Helston is the New Depot)
The TCs don't hurry when it comes to new operating centre applications.no new operating centres applied as yet.
there isn't a First Kernow 45 now
That makes sense.new route. The Go 46/47 doesn’t appear to serve Troon.
I partially withdraw my positive comment about the Traveline timetable here. I have now seen - not realised this before - that the 10 is extended from Wadebridge to Bodmin and Bodmin Parkway and fits in nicely between the 11s basically giving a half hourly service from Wadebridge to Bodmin Parkway, which is really good. A long route, Launceston - Camelford - Port Isaac - Wadebridge - Bodmin - Bodmin Parkway, about 2hrs 40 mins. The 176 runs between the same terminals in about 50 minutes. However, on Traveline, they have tried to combine this part of the 10 with the 11 to show the good half hourly service, but made a complete and utter pigs ear of it. The 10 from Wadebridge to Bodmin Parkway has been shown in with the 11 from Plymouth to Padstow - ie the other direction - and vice versa. The rest of the 10, from Wadebridge to Camelford to Launceston has been combined reasonably well, provided that you accept that a bus arriving at Camelford at 09.58 in one column is the same bus as starts at Penpethy at 10.06 in the next. There also appear to be two journeys at 07.11 from Penpethy (perhaps Camelford) to Wadebridge, one in college holidays and one in school holidays. None on college days or school days but there are Callywith College buses from most places at around this time. The times for the Go Cornwall 10 and 95 have been consolidated from up to four different sections into one for each route, as often this is not perfect but it is much more useful.
That makes sense.

An interesting point I’ve noticed. First have deregistered the 93, and no citybus alternative. St Columb major appears to only have the 5 daily 95 services mentioned in the previous post
Us St Columb residents look to have really lost out here, losing our only direct connections to our nearest large-ish town Newquay, where a lot of residents work, go the hospital, schools, opticians, supermarkets etc. At present, when I need to catch a bus, I can catch a 93 at about 8:25 and get into Newquay even with a bit of slack for a late running bus ready to start work at 9:00
With the new setup, Traveline suggests a First Kernow 95, changing at Fraddon on to a Plymouth Citibus 91, with the first leg leaving St Columb at 7:20 and getting into Newquay at around 8:00 to hang around for an hour before work. As I highly doubt there will be any sort of combined fare ticket across the two operators, I assume costs are going to rise as well as inconvenience. Nothing else will get me into Newquay early enough.
A far cry from the days of Western Greyhound!
We do have another service (on college days only) to add to the 95, a First Kernow 213, but guess what, this, like the 95 goes from Truro to Wadebridge.
The 95 also finishes a lot earlier than the 93 does at present, there's a bus after 10pm at night from Newquay to St Columb which means you can have an evening out, go to the cinema, etc. and still get home. Unless I'm mistaken, the last chance to get out of Newquay towards St Columb under the new regime will be just before 6:00pm.
I believe this was exactly what fchd was saying.Citybus are taking over the 95 from the staff briefing. There is a new timetable for them on Traveline. Citybus only show asoperating the 0800 91 from Newquay with First the rest in that direction. I think there was the first 2 journeys for citybus from memory Truro to Newquay. There is a 95 at 0720 from st Columb to Fraddon, the last Fraddon to st Columb shows as 1835.
I bet it has! They do a good job at Traveline putting complicated things together and, while it isn't perfect, its a vital way to present information now councils do so little. I expect they have been busy and will be for a while yet in Cornwall!NPTI (who run the Traveline SW site) are aware of issues, which will be resolved in due course. It's just been a challenge for them too.
I've only just appreciated this. I cannot believe that St Columb Major is to be deprived of its 93 service by First - to allow a more frequent service on the slightly quicker 91 - leaving the town with only the 95 as a regular service two hourly to Truro and Wadebridge. Nothing to Newquay. If this is not an error then it is something Cornwall do need to address, adding as an absolute minimum a two hourly service via the present route 93 to give an hourly service from Truro to St Columb Major, to beef up the 91 service falling to hourly in the peaks, and to provide a couple of evening journeys. I stopped off at St Columb Major on a trip a couple of years ago and it was quite busy. It looks like an oversight in view of the improved services elsewhere - I hope.Us St Columb residents look to have really lost out here, losing our only direct connections to our nearest large-ish town Newquay, where a lot of residents work, go the hospital, schools, opticians, supermarkets etc. At present, when I need to catch a bus, I can catch a 93 at about 8:25 and get into Newquay even with a bit of slack for a late running bus ready to start work at 9:00

Link to the post?A couple of new deliveries to PCB shown on FB and claimed to be for Cornwall are WA20DVH/J, 8.9m E200s in unbranded red.
Go Cornwall also have a 45 from Troon via Camborne to Pool, I hadn't noticed that before and there isn't a First Kernow 45 now. Is this part of the existing 47?
