Swietelsky Construction is an Austrian Company, mainly involved in Track Renwals work. The UK equivalent company is SB Rail. Which is a subsidiary of Babcock Rail, who have Track Renewal contracts in the UK. The SB part being Babcock and Swietelsky UK.
Train Drivers will be for moving and probably operating the extensive fleet of On Track Machines. The train drivers will need all UK train driver credentials, as well as route knowledge, which could probably be extensive, since SB operate on a UK basis.

Many have used this pathway as a way into driving grades, worth considering.

Nothing yet, not sure whether the swiftness of taking the job down was a good or bad thing. Waiting game now I guess

By the way how did you know about the interviews? Did you get the generic “unfortunately not selected for interview” email?
