No duff at Keighley this year!!!

Hurrah! 47402 is unavailable for this year's gala, and 33109 has been drafted in instead All the duff-avoidance moves that had to be in place for last year's excellent event will be unnecessary this time.

Why anyone thought having a duff there would be a good idea in the first place is beyond me. Maybe this is fate trying to tell event organisers that duffs are, well, duff.....

Well, I admit no, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a 20 or 37. At least if they send a 47 there will only be one, rather than two if 47402 had shown up.

Maybe some sort of class 47 gala could be held for them, so that the rest of us could point and stare

Sorry, this isn't meant to be taken 100% seriously and I've been guilty of this sort of thing on here before. I like gently ribbing duff bashers, but obviously when it comes down to it liking duffs is no more irrational than liking any other type of loco.
