If you want to check if you managed to submit before they took they took the vacancy down you could also go on the Arriva careers site to check. Just log in, and there should be an option on there to check which vacancies you’ve applied for. Once you’ve clicked on that you should see the trainee train driver application on there which should say ‘submitted’ and the date it was submitted

If you want to check if you managed to submit before they took they took the vacancy down you could also go on the Arriva careers site to check. Just log in, and there should be an option on there to check which vacancies you’ve applied for. Once you’ve clicked on that you should see the trainee train driver application on there which should say ‘submitted’ and the date it was submitted

I checked it .. it's there as submitted.. my concern is that I am not receiving any emails so that means I can also miss other emails sent to me example assessment or invitation for assessment center etc ... I checked my email address too it's correct....

If you passed paper sift with abelio , didn't you have assessment's

You could wait until next week, but then the vacancy could be taken down tomorrow. All the best for SWR mate but if it wasn’t to work out and you threw your hat in at Arriva, you never know what can happen.

I passed all the psychometric tests , but didn't get through my first dmi. when I went for the assessment day at my current toc , arl , I didn't have to do any . I was told by the opc on that day , to pull another application I had and that you shouldn't have more than one on the go at a time.

Ah right maybe this is something to think about then, I was sure I read someone else say this on the forum ages ago but couldn’t recall where then didn’t hear of it happening again so thought it may have been a one off or they stopped doing that.
@Nevergiveup maybe give it a go and if they ask you as quick as next week then pull the Arriva one?

Nope it’s been like 10 months and still haven’t heard back since passing “online SJT”

I’ve just submitted the ARL application too but going from previous experience I don’t think they will get back to me in less than two weeks so hopefully by then I’d have passed assessments with SWR which is next week

Great Northern . Although at dmi , should I have been successful , they were going to put me at Cricklewood for Thameslink.

To be honest , I didn't find any of them hard. I was more worried about the mmi and the traffic scene , out of everything. I did all the additional tests too , so the magnificent 7 sjt and the visual search exercise,as well as the dfft. I did a mock written report too.

I’m assuming you had to do all that in different stages? With SWR stage 1 & 2 assessment are on the same day rather than separate days but there was no mention of MMI, DMI & SJT which someone on here said will be on separate days

ARL use enhanced scoring, if you did enhanced, then you wouldn’t have to do the tests again.

You may however have to do additional tests like the Driver Fault Finding Test if you didn’t do it at the other TOC. Just apply and the OPC will tell you what you need to do should you get through.

I read “sit it all again” as him meaning the assessments, but @Joel Walker if you did mean the DMI then no that is TOC specific.

I have done all tests and passed with crossrail. Dmi left with crossrail. Anyone know that if I apply for arriva, would i go straight to DMI?

Congrats on passing your assessments. In regards to using results from other TOCs, the answer is yes. They will accept your crossrail results and you should automatically be invited to the DMI with ARL. Hope that helps.
