Lillyhall's PX04 DMU expired on the annex today, and was towed back to the depot by Barry Pickthall using a rigid tow

Other News:-
Travellers MX05 OSZ received a broken window when passing through Ryelands at 17.27
So with immediate effect services 8A, 8C will not serve Ryelands after 3pm on school days or on Saturdays.

Don't forget that stagecoach had in the past refused to serve Ryelands. Due to similar problems!

Indeed but they threatened lol you've just put your foot down! Good for Travellers lol. SC also had a problem with people throwing stuff at deckers while they sat at the Battery and in Heysham Village I think.
Might mean slightly better punctuality for the evening peak journeys then!

Stagecoach did that with the 81A AND 81B services they rerouted them from newton estate to go round halton after a certain time due to trouble nearly everynight.

The late Kirkby's are supported by the council and they want then to go Thru halton of a night and always have. All the day time ones go thru newton apart from 0730 81 from Lancaster that goes direct to kirkby. Last but to newton is 1745 the 1815 goes halton.

Not quite Stagecoach, but relevant to the discussion, First withdrew all services from an estate in Little Hulton, Salford (Kenyon Way) because of constant damage due to vandalism, after 7pm we didn't go on the estate, after a few unsuccessful goes at running through the estate at night it was eventually dropped for an absolute age, must have been well over a year, before services resumed.. Don't know what it's like now..
Another was when about ten drivers from Bolton, me being one of them, went on loan to do Rochdale runs for Pennine, they (Pennine) had had trouble on the Kirkolt estate for years but had never thought of withdrawing services, whilst we were there, we had a window smashed (before lunch) and all the Bolton drivers en-mass decided to refuse to drive the service, persuading all the incumbent drivers who had 'put up and carried on' previously, to withdraw with us.. Certainly caused a few complaints, but got things done..

I just followed a fully-laden 47062 up Ennerdale Road, Maryport, running the 57...

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if it's Hillside (A.K.A locally as "Bangladesh") that's killing the solos... What a racket 47062 just made climbing that!!! sounded like someone was actually trying to kill it!!!

Had a ride on 47728 yesterday on the 81a and very nice it was to 
47247/48 on 49 this morning. The seats in the 04's would look great in SC colours me thinks lol

ex Merseyside 20934 down the back of the big shed, still with "Stagecoach Merseyside Sorry Not In Service" squashed on the flip dot, waiting for paintshops. the back row is in blue trim, all other seats are grey.

Snapped a pic of 20994 when it entered K-town (Keswick) at about 1-ish... Barbara was bombing it as usual!
Also saw it on the return journey to Workington with the display showing "Workington X5". Thus proving it has been fixed
