Helensburgh to North Berwick all stops and not via any motorways...
I came across a timetable recently for a Central service from Helensburgh to Ingliston that would have gotten you a good way there. Not surprisingly it wasn't all stops!

With the 1B route being around 1 hr 40 mins and the X22 being over 2 hours it's probably close to a 6 hour route. PVR would have to be 74/75 to allow any recovery time at each end.

Think I've worked that out right but I'm not 100% sure so I stand corrected if it's wrong

Some route that , wonder how reliable it would be.

Given that the 1B and 240 can be really unreliable on their own it would probably be a nightmare pretty quickly. If the 1B from Helensburgh isn't late out of Dumbarton it's a miracle plus the 240s bunch up a lot both ways

So what we reckon are next new buses due to the fleet and the next withdrawals?

I’d imagine this order will consist of E200MMCs and E400MMCs again, albeit not as many as last years order. I doubt they’ll change it up any.

Though more urbanity to go through in the Central Belt

That is true to some extent, albeit both the X7 and 35 still get strongly affected by traffic, especially given that in the case of the 35 the road infrastructure is next to none as it's mostly just B roads and towns.

Any changes to routes/timetables we think could happen this year?

The main 2 closest to me I could maybe see are the X4 going every 30 mins off peak Monday to Friday and the 6 going every 12 mins too Monday to Friday. Certainly seen a few services with dwindling numbers everytime I've used them compared to before but not sure where the changes would come from. Would like to see new things tried instead of constant cuts but it's unlikely

I would thought retirement, as when they were transferred to Glasgow from Kernow, their were supposed to have been short term use.

Seen one on the 6A just there , the most uncomfortable bus to ride, im not even tall.

I always thought the 6 was already at every 12 mins.

Don't see them lasting too much longer tbh. Will probably be ousted with the next influx of new buses whenever that happens

The B10s were due to come off a month ago but have been kept a while longer as there's nothing to replace them as of yet.

On another note there's word that Aberdeen are to loose 7 Geminis once our first batch of 15 new deckers arrive, so i wouldn't be shocked if they end up with Glasgow.

Talking of buses on borrowed time are 33355/56/58/59/61/65/68/69/70/74 still running? I believe 33353/60/62/67/71/75 may be ithdrawn?
