on a tuesday evening going into london, where is the best place to park and ride on the west anglia man line (bishops stortford or nearer). ie most parking spaces, cheapest parking tickets, best train services?
Does it have to be on the Bishops Stortford line? I know when Nick W goes from Braintree to London he sometimes uses somewhere on the Epping line (possibly Epping itself I am not sure) as a park and ride (I guess due to it being cheap with Oyster PAYG extending further out and also perhaps cheaper parking).
Bishops Stortford and Harlow Town have the best service as they have the semi-fast Cambridges as well as the stoppers, and they also have non-stop trains to Tottenham Hale & then to Liverpool St (branded as Stansted Express).

Epping supposedly has the second largest car park of the whole Underground, and at least six trains an hour to boot. That makes it a good P&R spot. Throw in the M11 and M25, which are - let's be honest - pretty damn close, and you have an ideal location. It would be better though if the nearby motorway interchange had a link to Epping, though.
If you want convenience from the M11, go for Harlow Town. I say Harlow as opposed to Bishop's Stortford so as to avoid congestion around Stansted Airport.
