Thanks. Do these now have Heaton as there home depot or are they rotating back to NH. As I have said brfore Northern s allocation policy can be be a bit confusing.
Prob wrong but I have 30 156 at HT and 17 at NH

Just seen a picture doing the rounds on the Pacer Facebook group of 142005 at Booths, or whats left it. Hanging on for dear life with only the wagon remaining. Which leads to my question. Will the wagon be scrapped as well or might it be re-purposed back to being a freight wagon?

Northern might consider using it for extra capacity during the summer heat and promote it as a "unit with an extra airy feel to get you away from that stuffy summer heat!"...better scrap the wagon just to make sure Northern don't consider it. :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Well, the 0655 Huddersfield to Leeds which is booked for 142 + 144(3) was short formed with just the 144(3) working it this morning! It ran with a 2 car yesterday.

It’s not really a wagon. It is based on the HSFV prototype yes, but that doesn’t make it a wagon.

Still need to see 142022 which is mentioned being in Worksop would it be visible if I was to take a trip there on Saturday ? Also if anyone knows if 142086 is still in service that would be great : )

As I understand, 156451 is a Heaton unit and has been for years.

Unit 156441 is the first ever Porterbrook unit allocated to Heaton. As there are 18 of them. And Newton Heath are keeping 16. Then there should be another one due. Maybe 440?

I believe not, have been thinking of going there myself as I need both 142016 and 142022

It dosent look like 086 is out running, sorry!

I worked 142086 vice a 153 this morning between Leeds & Huddersfield. It went onto the Huddersfield- Castleford circuit thereafter.

The latest information I have heard is that 142's will still be running next week on several routes from both Manchester stations.

From the diagrams I have I can see 142s on the Rochdale-Clitheroe/Blackburn circuit, one of which is paired with a 158 which is a bit bizarre and not very practical because that combination won't fit on platforms north of Blackburn.
