Leeds - Lancaster - Skipton

Anyone know why the 2H84 Leeds - Lancaster ( leaving 21:30) - Skipton has been cancelled ?

I ask because the screen says cancelled due to the emergency services (runs out of room) but it appears the service has been cancelled all the way through from Leeds.

Has there been some type of incident ?

I ask because the same train appears to have been cancelled on Saturdays previously.

There is something going on on the Airedale lines according to NRE, which would obviously impact this service.

Ah thanks for the info.

I usually aim for the 20:30 from Lancaster, but I like to have the 21:30 as a fallback, and for late connections as well.

Fair play to Northern.

Detrained at Skipton, straight on to a coach. Straight back on the train at Keighley so back on rail at the first possible opportunity. Text book rail replacement.
