I had my stage 2 last week, not heard yet but he said at the time we would hear back within 5-10 days, most probably towards the 10. Its been about 6 days now I think, so could be a few more yet. Not sure if it's calendar days or working days in which case if working days its only been 4 for me!

I missed the call, it's the same number that phoned with interview results a few weeks back and I missed it then too, she doesn't work Fridays so I'll have to wait until Monday to find out! Oh the stress!

Got a call today, I also have been unsuccessful however did pass all of the tests including MMI. She said a higher number than expected passed meaning more people than vacancies, so I have been placed into a talent pool. At least I have the tests behind me for 5 years so I'm quite happy with that! Well done to all who made it, and good luck to those who didnt

That’s exactly my position too! Yeah I suppose it’s best to take the positives away from it. I wonder who go the positions, and if so anyone from our day

Had my medical for this position and passed everything apart from the ECG. I was devastated as there was a slight abnormality in the reading. I went to speak to my GP for a 2nd opinion and he advised me that there was no issue with me, and that he had no concerns about what was found and he stated I was fit and able to work.

He gave me a letter to send and DRS considered it and have came back and advised the occupational health doctor is happy with the 2nd opinion and agrees it was a minimal issue and not likely to be a risk or cause problems so I have now passed it.

The waiting period for this was 3 days and it was excruciating but I am delighted to pass. This forum and the contributions from everyone was invaluable to me as I got great information for each and every stage of the recruitment.

I would advise anyone getting a medical to seek a 2nd opinion if there is anything they are not happy with as the occupational health team seem to take a zero tolerance approach in the 1st instance.

Good luck to everyone else starting in January.
