Well, after finishing work yesterday, it seemed my two days off were doomed to fail. I stood for 2 hours in a field waiting for 66414 + 1 on the flasks. As if that wasn't enough, I went to Willington this morning for the Colas steel. One of the duffs died between Water Orton and Tamworth and sat in Clay Mills loop. Having dropped DW in Brum, I raced down towards Evesham for 66845 on yet another Slowline wagon move. Still in DRS scheme, the shed is seen at Lower Moor, about 60 seconds after I parked the car! http://www.ferret.fotopic.net/p64152619.html

Next move was to Badgeworth for 6E41. There was a large gallery present, and I was greeted with the news that the kettle charter was running late. Handy for me, but not so handy for Mumrar! Last shot of the day was going to be a 92 at Penkridge but the M5 was screwed after J1, so I bailed off and used the A41 - also screwed courtesy of a broken down lorry. FFS!!!! May I advise anyone fancying a few days break/sunny photting to check when Ferrets rest days are, then you're guaranteed some full sun! Considering I went out for the steam and he didn't, which one of us ended up with a shot???
