I'm guessing GWR no longer carry the Cornish fish since the switch to IETs? Or do they lock them in one of the kitchen areas or something?

I'm surprised to see, from the video, they only load one single box of fish, I assumed it would be a much larger operation.

This was at Bristol so perhaps it's something else they're loading? It is a bit odd, you're right. Perhaps the shellfish itself doesn't happen any more...

The luggage storage space on the IETs will always be a sore point for me too, as the HST had more versatility in this area. Those storage lockers show in the video above aren't that big, nor will they likely to be available if the Kitchen is in use. However I do believe that Fish & Shellfish is still carried on the Night Riviera within the BUO (BFO) space.

Im not sure how the cake's from Penzance are transported now - Possibly via the Night Riviera as well.

Interesting that they show how a 'T' key can unlock an IET door. I realise you can pretty much unlock and dismantle most stock using a 'T' key - but its not the sort of thing to be advertising..

Little known fact*: On every train since Stephenson, there is a secret 'T' keyhole that will cause the entire train to fall apart like a clown car.

*possibly not actually a fact

A signalman I knew worked Truro west box years ago. A fish van came up from Penzance with a hot box. It was knocked out the train and put in a cripple siding. It was forgotten about until the occupants of nearby houses ‘kicked up a stink' about the smell.
