MML Engineering Works Between Xmas and New Year

Hi all.

NRE is showing engineering works on the Midland Mainline on the weekend of December 28/29 only. However, the journey planner seems to be showing replacement bus services on the route all the way from Friday to New Years day. Does anyone know what the full extent of this blockade is ?

Thanks @GRALISTAIR for sending that over here. Depending on the nature of the work (it could well be resignalling), the work may well affect trains from Corby too.

The East Midlands Railway website is giving slightly different information to the MML upgrade website. I can see from NRE trains from London St Pancras to Nottingham appear to be operating largely as normal up until Christmas Eve. Then there are no direct trains from 27 December to 1 January:

Thanks for the clarification. I notice that there seem to be no direct trains up until new years day, so I wonder whether this will change.
