One free game/day. Can become addictive.

You look at the photo given, scan round and try to locate it on a world map. Some have a little clue, many don't and you have to go off what you can see. You get points for how close (or far away!) you get.

I've done it to within a few miles at best - and a few thousand at worst (I put a place in Finland in mid-USA, it was the yellow lines on the road!)

Shame you need an account now. I remember we sometimes packed up a few minutes early at school and would have a couple of games of this. Made double English a bit better.

You can play one game every 24 hrs fro free as long as you accept ads - adblocker kicks in in that case. I think it's only fair that people who come up with this sort of thing get some kind of financial reward for their time and efforts and you can, presumably, sub for a month and then unsubscribe so a month's fun has cost less than a pint!

EDIT reading through the comments on twitter it appears the charges are there because Google increased their charges massively.
