I'm visiting Berlin in a couple of months and want to visit Wansee and Potsdam. Both are on the same RE line out of Berlin. Is it possible to buy one ticket for both places?

I've not actually finalised my plans yet and haven't looked closely at which stations are closest to where I want to be so it may be better for me to use the station you've suggested. All I've really established so far is Wansee and Postdam look to be places of interest and can both be reached by S-Bahn and Express trains with the latter being faster.
I've also discovered a 5 day Berlin Welcome Card could be an option, but I really need to decide what exactly I'm visiting first to check that it would be a cost-effective option.
That's new. I've used the 72 hour one before, you can get some good discounts on museums & attractions. Also, you can take up to 3 children under the age of 14 on public transport if you buy the ABC version
