Today I saw a Silverlink-liveried class 150/1 at Cardiff Central... unbranded but I presume it was operated by FGW.
Are these from the promised LO/LM cascade for 2010?
FGW already have two Silverlink liveried class 150/1, they have had them for nearly 2 years.

Not un-common. First Great Western have two 150s in unbranded Silverlink livery,more are expected to follow as London Overground will start taking on the delivery of new Class 172 units for their GOBLIN (Gospel Oak - Barking service) within the next few months.
In response to your question I don't know if these 150s are for the promised LO/LM cascade for 2010. However I dont think these will be part of the promised LO/LM cascade for 2010 as there are only 8 of these units and the unbranded Silverlink 150s are only on loan to FGW.

while Cardiff did you see "Gerald" pulling his Rugby special, ex 1652 via Crewe to HDD,
acting as a semi stopper to Crewe in place of the 175 again.

No they wont be arriving for about 2 years I reckon, the one you saw was either 150121 or 150127.

Thats unless the manual transmission in the 172s Vs the 170s goes horribly wrong!

150121/127 both carry First Great Western branding on there Silverlink Liveries.
In a huge majority of your posts you seem to just be hitting enter in the middle of sentences. Lots of your posts (or sections of them) seem to be the exact width of the reply box. It as if when you get to the right hand side of the box you hit enter regardless of weather its a line or paragraph break or not! This problem seems to be more and more obvious to anyone with higher screen resolutions. Especially when your post is nested amongst other members freely wrapping text.

Ahh thank you, I didn't know FGW already had some, a quick Wikipedia showed this.
Slightly unrelated, but yesterday's ATW 18.40 (?) from Milford Haven to Manchester Piccadilly seemed an unusual combination yesterday, consisting of 2x 2-car 158's and 1x 153. Never seen ATW offer a 5-car going north! Although I presume some of the units were being returned up north for today's uses. I wonder if this was the 'souped-up' 153.

Where did you see this five car? I am now aware a 175 is in Chester or was for urgent door problems to be sorted.

Interesting, options to mind, return south on Monday shortage of 175s, single car (5th) for either Shrewsbury or Junction? was this locked out.
