Greenwich or Lewisham to Gravesend

Is there a ticket that can be purchased in advance that allows travel to Gravesend from either Greenwich or Lewisham and then (same day, this Friday) return from Gravesend to either of those stations?
I don't have a fixed travel time, and both Lewisham and Greenwich are as easy to get to as the other, so I'd ideally like to get whichever was the first train departing, especially on the return journey.

I don't want to purchase a travelcard as part of the ticket as that will inevitably be more expensive than two off-peak zone 2 only singles on Oyster.

London Terminals to Gravesend day return if you really want it all on one ticket.

It would be cheaper to choose one or the other then use the DLR to transfer between them, but there might be a time penalty.

The issue is that if I have a Greenwich <> Gravesend ticket I have to wait about half an hour for the next train from Greenwich rather than get a train from Lewisham in 15 minutes. Similarly on the return. I live a short walk from that branch of the DLR so there is no point going via central London. Would a London Terminals ticket be valid for entry/exit at Greenwich or Lewisham?

Yes, it allows you to start and end your journey at either Greenwich or Lewisham.

There's some interesting pricing in that part of the world.

Just had a look on Southeastern's website for a Greenwich to Gravesend return, coming back the day after. It has offered a single on the outward for £8.50, but if you use the website to select a return journey the ticket option offered is a return for £52.70!
