Wires down between Shipley and Kirkstall Forge 02/07/2019

Does anyone know what is going on with the wires between Shipley and Leeds? Nothing is moving and people are threatening to go down on the line to get off.

Wires at Kirkstall Forge apparently.

From Realtime Trains:
18:18 Leeds-Skipton left six minutes late.
17:26 to Morecambe is still at platform.

My other half is hoping to be on the 17:41 Leeds-Skipton but I've told her the 18:18 Leeds-Carlisle might be worth considering as a back-up. This train is currently incoming 11L.

UPDATE:

Morecambe left 14L.
OH is sitting on the 17:41 so at least it's there!

Heard different things regarding this so not sure what the actual issue was, but it caused a significant amount of disruption!

From what the driver of the train told us, they (control?) sent a rescue train which once coupled up to the broken down train started tripping out the wires and caused further delays.

Over 3 hours sat in the afternoon heat with the grandchildren wasn't ideal but we had no other alternative.
