heres the link of the sold on tridents, only had it since about august 2018 so only the Scanias, East Coast Tridents and lothian tridents form 628 up are on it as it would be hard to find stuff sold on from 4+ years ago. Some still arent found so if any of you know where the ones ive not got down are that would be great

This may be of help, I don't guarantee 100% accuracy but it is to the best of my knowledge. Any updates or corrections would be greatly appreciated.

bustimes / traveline have started to show the new timetables.

Significant number of extra X33s & X37s in new timetable.
Gorebridge has its last bus brought back half an hour despite "later running 29" to replace the 33.
Will look more at the changes after work.

The 400 also has a new late evening timetable, nothing on the 21 with part route journeys terminating at Lochend though!

21 Lochend appears to be Sat only.

Didn't realise the Skylinks had changes this time around?

As I understand it, I believe the change over point is changing to Lochend to cut down on congestion on Kings Road. Same with the 49 I believe. Although dont quote me on it. It does mean some van shuttling but it cuts down in congestion.

With some Saturday / Sunday services on the 49 terminating at Lochend.

The 15 is now moving back to the X15 again though at this rate there’s honestly no point if they are just cutting down the service again... there was a reason it was moved to peak time only

Also the 124 being every 15 minutes on sundays is to work with the revised 26!! And there’s one full journey Dunbar-Fort Kinnaird on the 106 in evenings and the last 106 from the Fort is 8pm

Just noticed on ECB twitter that they have a survey you can fill in with feedback for them. I filled one in, and if you’re a frequent ECB passenger I’d encourage you to fill one in.

There's no point running it as a local within Edinburgh - people can use the 11. It saves the students going to the Bush a few minutes and might attract the odd extra passenger for being faster.

They now have a summary leaflet with a bit more detail.

XLB 1125 has gone into service today in a plain white livery and without rear fleetnames and rear fleet number. I am not sure why this is...

We're low on buses after the flood and just so happens this was available. The ex London dual doors weren't used as we're still ironing a few things out with them and some street furniture too.

Do you know which fleet numbers they are?

Yes I do!

That's all the XLB's from 1063 to 1125 in service now then with the exception of 1093. Anyone know if 1093 has been delivered yet?

It was with ADL as a press bus althen they used it to work on a solution for the smokey exhausts. It's the heater, not the bus itself. I believe the solution may be plumbing the exhaust into the vehicles exhaust rather than having it's own.

The buses are under warranty so ADL and Volvo carry out all works.

I hope they weren't too badly damaged in the flood, and that might explain why 1125 went out today before being painted. Quite unusual to see.

As above, this is why we sent out 1125. It's not getting repainted, it's in its livery, it will be getting a wrap soon, but will spend its life painted white, receiving new wraps regularly... or not so regularly.

We receive the buses from the factory in service ready condition. We dont paint any new vehicles. The wrap would have been done too but the design isnt finalised.

That makes more sense, a bit like 250/551 then?

Correct. This way it means it can be used with any of our subsidiaries in a pinch. Lothian is the only company within the brand getting them though, ECB or LC wont get any permanently it's not necessary.

1125 might also be getting sent to other operators (down south etc) for trials as an ADL demo.

And those fleetnumbers are? Or is this one of these things that have to be kept secret?

will it be getting wraps such as what 401-417 have had like for Samsung, Michael Kors etc.. or will it be lothian/council related wraps?

Will I see the 31s are getting cut because of the bigger buses. Its MADNESS the 26 being cut on a Sunday the buses are all full half the time.
