Hi All,

I am wondering what the titles (alike) are for posters who have achieved X amount of posts. I know i started as a

New Member

then went on to become

Passenger

then a couple later a

First Class Passenger

Gateline Assistant

and I am now a CSA having this as my 101 post.

I am asking what the list is for this type of stuff and what the letters mean.

EG (under personalized line)

CSA = Customer Service Assistant ???

Actually I find it a bit confusing as I may think someone is writing as a railway employee when they are not.

If I told you, that would take away the surprise ;)

They will not be around when we launch our new forum, so make the most of them whilst you can

Quality is more important than quantity.
Can I go further than that without upsetting people?
Some of the most frequent posters also seem to make the least reliable posts (posting whatever thought first pops into their head). And those with low numbers of posts are often the best informed.
Not in everyone's case, of course.

Back to the original query - I do agree that the made-up "Job Titles" are counter productive. It wasn't long ago that someone was angry that a senior officer in a rail company (can't rmember the actual title that the system had used - poss TOC MD or something unlikely) was being so irresponsible to make the remarks they'd made. Clearly someone took the "Job Title" as seriously as the subject of the thread. It isn't helpful.

Indeed, there's some users on here with average posting figures of about 10 posts per day! :|

how about the ranks go up through multiple units? you start off as a lowly pacer and work your way up to a magnificent Eurostar. Just a thought. Or locomotives, class 03 being the lowest rank, and Deltic at the top?
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
and what does RPI stand for?

No, they are going to be replaced with flying 'f's. One for 'Passenger' and six for 'TOC Owner' ;)

Flying F's?

because that's rail related isn't it?

In terms of post counts I think removing the titles will be good because people post crap in order to get up high.
